Kik has made an announcement that it would partner with Unity Technologies for permitting game developers to make use of Kik’s Kin token to reward its players.
Unity Technologies develops the world’s most widely used real-time 3D development platform. Tools for creating interactive, 2D, 3D, VR and AR experiences are also provided by the company.
Kik raised almost $100 million in an ICO last September. To create a software development kit (SDK)to provide developers with an easy route to incorporate KIN into their games.
Kin software development kit (SDK) would be a part of Unity technologies Unity Asset Store. Unity Asset Store is a marketplace for gaming tools and service and span to a large number of platforms that include Xbox One, Play Station 4 and Steam VR.
Kik has a long-term goal to create an ecosystem which is mutually beneficial to the players as well as developers. Developers are incentivized for their creative thoughts and would get daily payouts Kin Rewards Engine (KRE).
