Google Fit Now Supported On Apple Watch

Google Fit

Google and Apple have come together, for the fitness tracker industry at least. Google has announced that their app Google Fit is now available to download on the iOS, and it includes native support for the Apple Watch.

Before, users had to go to the Wear OS app to get to their Fit data, which meant that if you didn’t have the Wear OS, you’d be out of luck.

Google Fit focuses in on Heart Point, Move Minutes and several other metrics that depend on your day-to-day activity. Moreover, the app can be combined with Apple Health, Headspace, Sleep Cycle and Nike Run Club for an all-in-one health and fitness platform. Wear OS and Apple Watch can now sync with the app, eliminating the need to bring other fitness trackers to the table.

Google Fit is an alternative for iOS users who are averse to Apple Health. The Fit app is free to download on your Apple Watch.
